Washing up for Dinner

After being able to play outside for the first time after work this year. We played hard, some sliding, some driving, some swinging, and some rock collecting for Grandma. We went inside to wash our hands. Heath says to me, "Ohh mom, not the elbows..."

How to find a Deer

Heath was talking to Grandma on the phone. Grandma said she hadn't seen any deer at the State Park since she had gone back to work. Heath told Grandma, "You have to park the car, then walk a long long way. When you see the deer poop, you'll find the deer."

Mouse Hunt

Little Miss Willow was in my computer room and my mouse went a wondering. So I am searching for it in the rooms that she has gone through, which is easy to spot, we don't call her "Tornado Willow" for nothing. After 30 minutes of searching, I ask my 3 year old son if he has seen the mouse. He said, "Yes mama, it's right here." as he is handing me their Minnie Mouse toy.

New meaning to Bucket Head

This weekend Vence had to take the big cutters to Heath's favorite bucket. Heath got it stuck on his head. The handle wouldn't budge from under his chin.

My Hair

It was bath night at the Parsons' home. After bathing Willow, I handed her to her father, so he could get her ready for bed, while I finished bathing Heath. When I walked into the room, to start dressing Heath. Vence had Willow completely dress and was brushing her hair. Willow looks up at me and shakes her head and says... Uh-ooh. I have to give the man credit, he was trying.

Goodbye Kisses

Vence was heading out the door to go to work.
He gave me a kiss goodbye, then went into the other room and kissed Heath. (Willow was still sleeping)
Heath: Don't leave yet, I need another kiss.
Dad: (Kisses him, and turns to leave)
Heath: Waaaaiiiiit Daddy, you didn't kiss mommy!
